This extension is basically identical to the extension the IRS provided for last year, including encouragement for employers and other coverage providers to furnish the Forms “as soon as they are able.”
As the holding pattern continues, employers may wish to review their incentives to determine whether any changes are warranted as the existing wellness plan incentive “safe harbor” is vacated.
